Beaches Turks & Caicos Reviews This was a return visit for us and we will return again. Our trip was extended due to Hurricane Hanna but if you had to be stranded somewhere.....Our first 8 days were glorious. Our room was extremely comfortable and clean. The resort itself is beautiful and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and interact with the guests on a regular basis. The food is consistently good and the service is second to none. Amazingly, the service and attention giving to us during the hurrican and after was excellent. We were well fed, entertained and informed. I tell everyone that this is the place to go for service, relaxation anad beauty. Our son was kept busy with the tween club and was able to enjoy several outings prior to the storm. If your child(ren) and happy and occupied, it makes for a real vacation for the parents. Hoping that all is back to normal soon - we look forward to our next visit. Overall, we had a great time. The weather was perfect and scenery can't be beat. That said, I do think that the resort is overpriced and you could do better staying at another resort next to Beaches (Alexandra, Sands, etc.) where you could enjoy the same beautiful surroundings but have a less crowded vacation. Even though the other resorts are not all inclusive which you pay a premium for because you don't have to open your wallet once during your time there, I believe it would be less expensive than Beaches. “great golf instruction” My wife and I visited Provo for vacation in early to mid July 2009. We signed up for a golf lesson at the Provo Golf Club. The instructor, Dave, was very hospitable, full of humor, and very professional. We had a little over an hour of instruction, both both felt that we learnt so much. We were very pleased.
The golf club is in an extremely nice setting in the Grace Bay area of the Island, close to a host of nice hotels and villas, and lots of dining options, not to forget the pristine beaches of Provo. Very nice clubhouse. Very friendly groundstaff too.
Our 2 teenage daughters took tennis lessons while we received golf instruction, and they loved it too.
All in all it was inexpensive ($90.00 for well over an hour of golf lessons for the two of us, and only $80.00 for tennis lessons for aour 2 daughters).
Well worth it and very highly recommended. |
